Americans certainly need financial advice on how to improve our financial fitness. How do we stop living from paycheck to paycheck? CCN has found a way to show you how to flex your budgeting muscle.

During these challenging economic times, and as CCN continues its growth, we are proud to share with our readers exciting and entertaining articles. We had the honor of receiving press status at the NAACP Image Awards held in Los Angeles, CA, on February 12, 2009. This event was extra special due to the organization celebrating its 100th anniversary. This was the NAACP’s 40th Image Award event and all the stars came out to celebrate. CCN was especially proud to have shared in this historical moment and wanted to say, “Happy 100th Anniversary, NAACP.”

As a nation, we realize America is celebrating many special occasions. We are delighted to share the story of our nation’s African-American First Lady. While her husband, President Barack Obama, is busy working to ensure a stable economy, Mrs. Obama is working her graceful magic at the White House and establishing a role for herself as the First Lady. From volunteering in soup kitchens, to working with families of veterans, she has truly stepped into her role.

On March 14, the Hallmark Channel debuted the madefor- TV movie, “Relative Stranger,” which stars Eriq La Salle (“ER”) and Cicely Tyson (“Diary of a Mad Black Woman,”) among others. Milwaukee’s own Eric Haywood wrote the film’s script.

There is much to be said about the stimulus plan. However, Governor Doyle of Wisconsin has taken the initiative to share with our readers his view of the stimulus package and his plans for the future of Wisconsin. This is just one state governor speaking out about the economy.

When will the U.S. Senate saga end in Minnesota—Franken vs. Coleman? Who knows, but stay with CCN, and we will keep you informed. ¶
