| Salvation Army to Participate in Veterans Day Activities |

Wauwatosa-The Salvation Army of Greater Milwaukee will participate in the 46th Annual Veterans Day Parade honoring all those who have served on Saturday, November 7. The parade begins at 11:00 AM on 4th & Kilbourn. On Wednesday, November 11, The Salvation Army will honor veterans of yesterday and today at the Annual Veterans Day Memorial Service at Wisconsin Memorial Park Chapel of the Chimes, 13235 W. Capital Drive from 4-5 pm. The memorial service is a community partnership between, Innovative Hospice Care VITAS, Wisconsin Memorial Park and The Salvation Army. Guest speakers will include Chief Petty Officer Michael. L. Hargett, US Navy, retired Joseph Demler, US Army veteran, WWII Prisoner of War, Salvation Army Milwaukee Citadel officers, Major Donna Van Hoesen and Major Gary Van Hoesen, will offer a reading and silent prayer. In 2008 The Salvation Army made more than 700 visits to hospitalized veterans. |
